Women’s Sport is Celebrated this Wellington Anniversary Weekend in a Super Smash - T20 Double Header at the Basin

This Wellington Anniversary Day, for the Dream 11 Super Smash Double-Header between Wellington Blaze and Firebirds and the Canterbury Magicians and Kings, we’re celebrating women’s sport – come and join us!

Women’s sport is 100% worth supporting 100% of the time!

It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate our incredible female athletes - but the celebrating isn’t just reserved for those on the pitch -

It’s also about the broadcasters, journalists, and support staff, the umpires, the coaches and the administrators that make women’s sport possible - and who play such an important role in growing the presence and prestige of women’s sport.

We want to see more women in all realms of sport. We want their stories to be told and their achievements to be celebrated.
